Paul D. Nielsen

Dr. Paul D. Nielsen is Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Nielsen retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Major General where he commanded the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and managed the Air Force’s annual $3 billion science and technology budget. Dr. Nielsen is a Fellow of both the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). 

Richard Mark Soley

Dr. Richard Mark Soley is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Object Management Group (OMG). He joined OMG as Technical Director in 1989, leading the development of its standardization process and the original CORBA specification. Previously, Dr. Soley was a Cofounder, Chairman, and CEO of A. I. Architects, Inc., a leading producer of AI hardware and software Dr. Soley holds bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT.
