The Power of Membership in CISQ

CISQ puts IT leaders in the position to directly influence the development of the industry standard for IT software quality from the ground up. Membership includes the following interaction:

  • Participate in and benefit from consortium leadership in promoting the importance of IT software quality
  • Provide technical experts to participate in OMG’s process for developing a standard for measuring IT software quality
  • Provide input to SEI’s development of a licensing program for professionals providing IT application quality assessments and services
  • Participate in annual 1-day CISQ executive meetings at SEI facilities in either the US and EU
  • Participate with SEI, OMG and industry peers in quarterly conference calls on critical industry issues and CISQ business

Member Organizations

CISQ includes IT executives in charge of significant mission critical applications from several dozen major enterprises across the globe. These companies include Global 2000 IT consumers and major systems integrators. An action item in the Fall 2009 meeting of the CISQ executive committe will be to decide whether to publish the list of members and member companies.

CISQ Annual Membership Fees are US$5,000

CISQ members who are currently not members of OMG receive a Trial Membership to participate as non-voting contributors in OMG's standards development process.
